The Battle of the Labrynth, written by Rick Riordan, is 361 pages long. This novel tells a story of Percy, Nico, Grover, Rachel Elizabeth Dare, Tyson, Annabeth, and about every other magical being. It turns out that the only way through the Labrynth is to use a mortal girl who can see through the Mist. Rachel, the mortal girl, helps Percy save the camp, but at the end they must send Dadleus to the Underworld to save everyone.
In this novel there is a conflict between Rachel and Annabeth. They are two girls that like the same boy, Percy. Annabeth doesn't like mortals so that is a problem for Rachel, but she never seems to mind the rude comments. Unfortunatley Percy likes both of them and can't just pick one. Sometimes he doesn't even realize why they two girls fight. It is over him. Liking the same person can always be a problem with girls.
